Questions
Fair questions, straight answers
What happens during the yearly Panel Health Check? +
A licensed electrician spends 1 to 2 hours on your electrical system: we open and inspect your panel, clean it out, tighten and torque every connection, look for heat damage and corrosion, test your GFCI outlets, and test your smoke and CO detectors (with fresh batteries on us). You get a written Panel Health Report with photos showing exactly what we found and what we did.
What does the 10% discount apply to? +
All service and repair work: troubleshooting, fixture and outlet work, repairs, small installs. Large quoted projects like service upgrades, generators, EV chargers, and new construction are quoted separately at our normal fair pricing.
What does same-week scheduling mean? +
Members go to the front of the line. When you call, we get you on the schedule within the week, and member emergencies take priority.
Is there a contract? +
Month to month, cancel anytime. Your launch rate is locked in for as long as you stay on the plan. If you cancel and rejoin later, the current rate applies.
Does one plan cover more than one house or property? +
Each plan covers one property. The Home plan covers a single house: the yearly Panel Health Check, the free small-device swaps, and every member perk apply to that one address. The Business plan works the same way for a single business location. If you own a rental or a second home, just join once for each address, and each property gets its own yearly check and Panel Health Report.
What if you find a problem during the check? +
We show it to you in plain English, with photos, and quote the fix with your member discount. If it's a failing breaker, GFCI outlet, or any small device under $50, the replacement labor is free and you only pay for the part. We will never invent problems: most panels pass with a short list of small notes.
Do you cover businesses? +
Yes. The Business plan is $69/month (regular $89) and includes everything in the Home plan, plus: every panel and subpanel at your location is covered by the yearly health check, your exit and emergency lighting gets tested annually, and business emergencies go to the absolute front of the line, because your downtime costs you money.
What counts as a covered small-device replacement? +
A like-for-like swap of a failed electrical device with parts under $50: a breaker, a GFCI outlet, a switch, a standard outlet. Covered visits take under an hour. If the job runs longer, uncovers bigger work, or turns into a project, it becomes a regular service call with your 10% member discount, and we tell you before we start, never after. One note on the pricier breakers: arc-fault (AFCI) and GFCI breakers cost more than standard parts, so past their first year the replacement labor is still free but the breaker itself is billed. Anything we installed within the last year is covered under warranty.
$29 a month. One less thing that can surprise you.
